As some of you might have noticed, quiet is no longer involved in running this board.
Not going to get into every detail but figured since he is posting about it on other boards instead of dealing with us, a statement is needed.
First of all, nobody is being ripped off, nobody is being locked out against their will. All we wanted was to negotiate things and he could not have his way so he pretty much told us to fuck off.
Fletch and myself have spent the last month or so barely sleeping and doing everything in our power to keep this board together and running. We have put everything else on hold in order to do this. Things that pay our bills.
So as I said, quiet didn't even want to negotiate and he flipped out. I really do not want to get into the hairy details. He will be repaid every cent he spent.
For the record, I am the owner of this domain, not Fletch. I paid for it and well there is no way Fletch and myself are just going to do all the work running it and hand it over to someone else who wanted majority control without even really negotiating.
It really is a shame that things could not be worked out, but at this point its just not going to happen because he totally flipped out.
So everyone can make their comments, no doubt people will bash us and call us names.
But this whole thing came down to make it or break it with Fletch and myself, and we do not have millions of dollars to fall back on if it fails.
People can say what they want, but we are just sticking with our original plan of having a kickass place to post, trade tunes, and do some business. We are not trying to recreate gfy, and not trying to battle the other board owners.
We love this board, we love the name, we spent a lot of time thinking about it and trying to do something cool with it for a while even before quiets involvement.
We really did NOT want it to go down this way, but again quiet didn't even want to negotiate.
Literally a few minutes after we emailed him he flipped out and was making threads about it on gfy. Really fucking nuts. He won't talk to us rationally and we've never even spoken to the guy on the phone.
We know he has been sick and under a huge amount of stress, but is he trying to do business or cry out for attention?
We are really confused and are just doing what we have to in order to fucking survive.
Thank you to everyone who has been posting here, you guys are ultimately what has made this thing successful. Its really fucking sad and disappointing that things went down this way, but we just don't know what to think anymore about the situation. All we can do is move forward so we can survive.Comment

I've made deals where I busted my ass and did not feel that I was treated fairly...In fact, that pretty much describes any and all of my past mainstream jobs. I put myself in that position and I had the power to remove myself from it too.
