I was a paramedic for many years and I've seen this happen many times and the one who doesn't get killed usually ends up killing himself a few months later or dies of a drug overdose or something !

The worst one I saw was 7 high school kids who hit a tree and 6 died and one lived. The kid who lived had one of the girls sitting on his lap in the back middle seat of the car who was thrown out and slammed into the side of a house.

When we got there he was walking around in shock with 6 of his friends dead.

He killed himself a few months later !
