Hurricanes are fairly isolated. Yeh, Florida gets hit every August-September, but usually in different areas. I think I'd rather deal with 1-2 Hurricanes a year than a bunch of shitty little storms every month.
Earthquakes aren't a problem. In San Diego we barely feel them. Half the time I can't tell whether its an earthquake or a helicopter flying over my house. Up North they feel them more, but typically they don't do much damage.
Not near the Mexican border? LOL, what is that supposed to mean? Do you think border cities are infested with crazy illegal immigrants? Yeh, they're around, but for the most part they go about their business without bothering anyone.

im not scared of tornados, been through a couple of those before. been through 1 earthquake (it was in ohio actually..years back, when there was an earthquake that was felt the whole way in ohio..it was 7-8 yrs ago.) and i've been through blizzards on the East coast (Cleveland, OH and Pittsburgh, PA) and in the midwest here so its nothing that i havent dealt with before,im used to it.
Hurricanes scare the shit outta me. i remember Internext of 2004 in Hollywood, FL, that we were feeling the effects of a hurricane on Thursday & Friday, that was kinda scary.
and mexican borders; aloooooot of quilty people come in and out those borders, i want NO PART of that shit LOL no cop chases, no killers spending the night in a hotel near my house, shit like that.
i guess every state has its ups & downs. there is no perfect place to live, or i'd be there.
and besides, i look dead-sexy in a ski suit
