Ahaha honestly I think living in the mid-west you're more prone to being "attacked" by nature than anywhere else. Blizzards, tornadoes 3 months out of the year, major flooding, thunder storms, hail storms, and I'm sure I'm leaving something out.
Hurricanes are fairly isolated. Yeh, Florida gets hit every August-September, but usually in different areas. I think I'd rather deal with 1-2 Hurricanes a year than a bunch of shitty little storms every month.
Earthquakes aren't a problem. In San Diego we barely feel them. Half the time I can't tell whether its an earthquake or a helicopter flying over my house. Up North they feel them more, but typically they don't do much damage.
Not near the Mexican border? LOL, what is that supposed to mean? Do you think border cities are infested with crazy illegal immigrants? Yeh, they're around, but for the most part they go about their business without bothering anyone.
