i love October; the fall leaves, the pullover/hoodie weather, haunted houses, halloween parties & costumes..its my 2nd favorite month of the year (my first is July of course.)

Ahaha honestly I think living in the mid-west you're more prone to being "attacked" by nature than anywhere else. Hurricanes are fairly isolated. Yeh, Florida gets hit every August-September, but usually in different areas. I think I'd rather deal with 1-2 Hurricanes a year than a bunch of shitty little storms every month.
Earthquakes aren't a problem. In San Diego we barely feel them. Half the time I can't tell whether its an earthquake or a helicopter flying over my house. Up North they feel them more, but typically they don't do much damage.
Not near the Mexican border? LOL, what is that supposed to mean? Do you think border cities are infested with crazy illegal immigrants? im not scared of tornados, been through a couple of those before. been through 1 earthquake (it was in ohio actually..years back, when there was an earthquake that was felt the whole way in ohio..it was 7-8 yrs ago.) and i've been through blizzards on the East coast (Cleveland, OH and Pittsburgh, PA) and in the midwest here so its nothing that i havent dealt with before,im used to it.Originally posted by Sly
