Jay, just a quick question. Why did you use him in the first place? I consider you to be one of the most respected SEO minds in adult and can't imagine you'd need SEO help. Unless this was just an outsource job or trying to nail a scammer, which I would understand.

I did business with him a couple years back. I would buy advertising on his sites for really good rates. I always thought it was too good to be true but it always panned out and I usually made 1.5-2x off of my investment. The funny thing is he knew how well I was doing but always wanted to sell because he always needed quick cash.

After thinking about different possibilities of someone needing quick cash often, it made me think he has some sort of addiction problem. Maybe drugs or gambling? I really couldn't think of any other reason.

Anyway, he always came through with me, but this was years ago. I haven't spoke with him in ages.

I think the desperation in his posts was the first giveaway. A good SEO with such a respected background as he claimed, would have no problem getting clients. Instead there were thread after thread with contests and fighting and desparate bumps for a silly $1000 consulting project.

I could see a one time thing for some quick cash, but if he had built his own stuff out when he first started making SEO threads, he'd probably have a nice flow of income coming in right now.

The whole thing seemed fishy, and the fact he couldn't afford to pay a guy back on $500 seemed to really throw up the red flags. What elite SEO can't find $500?

I'm assuming he won't be back. The last SEO thread started pulling up some old clients who were not very happy along with people he owed money to. My guess is that it was a last ditch attempt at some quick cash before bowing out. He'll probably be back with a new handle soon though.

The domains have only been ready for 3 weeks now... and I did 15+ deals I'm trying to buidl the sites in the order I did the deals... I have over 200 sites to build...

just because I haven't uploaded anythign to them yet makes me a scammer?????? wtf

Those have been ready since Thu Sep 08 19:17:21 2005 -- and here's a quick tip, as one SEO master (me) to "another":

As soon as you get a domain, you put up some kind of page with a little bit of text on it and get a few inbound links going. That way the domain gets spidered in -- even if you don't have the site ready. Otherwise, when you finally do get the site up it will sit in the "sandbox" for several months. If you were so knowledgeable about SEO, why am I telling you this?

You could have begun this on Thu Sep 08 19:17:21 2005, but instead you made "15 other deals".

Get with it. I will give you one more chance, but this is your last chance, you are on thin ice with me.

i think more people should "OUT" scammers so others don't end up with them in their stables instead of sitting by waiting for the drama to come to a head.
