                          Didn't see anyone else post yet, so I'll start off ;)
                          [CG] is/was short for [CGroove] this was shortented from [Cybergroove] which was shortened from °»©ÿßê®g®øõvë«°

                          I used the last one with the text-transmographer when I was like 15 & chatting in those old skewl html chats heh. I was actually given that from people I used to chat with there since I was all flirty online, skilled 15yr old I was ;) When I went to chats that wouldnt allow ascii letters I put [Cybergroove] then I went to chat in irc & it was too long & so I started using [CGroove] now & then I went in as [CG] & its always just stuck.

                          yes so there my little story... next? Hrmm I know Varius has some good stories about his so he should give a post here too lol

                                                  I was flipping thru the channels one day and caught the tail end of this music video on MuchMusic. The song rocked and the band looked pretty cool.

                                                  I managed to track them down, ordered the CD from Amazon and it turns out they're from Toronto which isn't to far from me.

                                                  I finally got up the nerve to register here after lurking for quite a long time. I needed a name, and at the time I was listening to their song "Who's Your Candyflip"...and the light went off.

                                                  The band was Robin Black and the Intergalatic Rockstars. They just go by Robin Black. If you're in Toronto, you probably know of him.

                                                                              My buddy saw me freaking out and said that you sounded just like Herb Kornfield from the Onion.... He gave me the link, I checked it out and had a laugh...

                                                                              It also works great in restuants when you have to leave a name. Sometimes the staffers get a laugh cause they know the deal with the onion.

                                                                                                          I even own meloman.com and part of my company name has Meloman in it, lol.
