I usually quit right away if it doesn't work out, then jump on the next idea/venture. I suppose A.D.D. is to blame for this mentality.

Anyway, the way I see it -- The more failures you accumulate, the quicker the law of average will kick in - And throw a dog a bone. You're bound to get lucky once, might as well put your fingers in as many pieces of the pie as possible.

When something gets past the point of frustration I will leave it and go do something I want to do or take a nap. It's amazing how often it quickly falls into place after that.

I'm very optimistic most of the time, but I normally know when I have lost and when it's no use to keep on fighting anymore for a thing. So that's the realistic part in me
