not bad, chances are the engine was jsut heavily flooded, gas goes into the injectors no problems, just doesn't want to turn over, last time we jsut tried it was making small small backfires, so came home to pick up a hair dryer and try to dry out all the condensation otta there

Looks like a fun little project. I wouldn't expect a lot of the people in this message board to understand an actual mod project car. Everyone hear is into the price tag of thier vehicle. Modders like us see value in hours spent and originality of a final product, it's an actual hobby. I just finished airbrushing my lil bro's back window on his S10, got his sounds and exhaust all kicking this week. Suspension, body and final paint next month. Can't wait to see your finished project.

92-95 civics are the best cars to import tune. there are endless possibilities.
stuff it up with a B18c or K20a then turbo and youll end up smoking almost every stock supercar

Sweet Swet music to my ears, we got it started today! the battery and boosterpack are shot, so I took my battery out of the car and used it, cranked it for about 25 seconds and it came alive, wasn't too loud without a muffler, shot some intake cleaner, put a little too much and it stalled the engine, waited about 5 minutes and restarted it and it turned over like a charm!
now took off the back wheels to check out the brakes since the ones in front are new, so needs new pads in the back, $25, another muffler, about $35, not too bad for a $400 car

Classic's never die, it still worksOriginally posted by crankiI like the supersoaker50 in your garage... it's oldschool!
and as for the car not being worth $100, I don't understand why people say that
the car runs, new brakes, new muffler, the engines turns over like a charm nowa couple of rust spots here and there, no rust 'holes', a good sanding job, bondo and some new paint, I've seen worse cars sold for a lot more

I've been thinking of finding an older car and getting back into it. It is very rewarding.
I was a maniac with the shit a loooong time ago, starting in highschool.
I was into Fords back then.
Took a 78 F-150 4x4 chasis and put a 52 cab on it. Later on completely rebuilt the engine with extensive mods when I worked in a machine shop. Even sent it off and had it balanced.
After that I did a frame off restoration on mint 1970 Bronco I picked up real cheap. Replaced all the wearable parts, everything, down to the leaf & coil springs, all ujoints and entire brake system including the lines. I ran a machine shop at this point and it was connected to a parts store. :-)
After that I started a 66 Fairlane. Picked up a BigBlock for it, punched it out .030" and put a radical Crane cam with all the other goodies. It never made the street.Comment

Dude, that engine can use some WD-40. Then it's good to go for another 150,000 miles.Comment
