Good to see your S is about to come home to you. Yeah the new MRE are a little better than the old ones, but hey you do not complain when you have a full 2500 callorie meal heated in an instant now do you.

And ya gotta love those cute little Tobasco bottles. I've only tried a couple MREs, but they were surprisingly tasty.

I remember reading that when we started carpet-bombing remote Afghan villages with MREs, the recipients liked most of it, but wondered what the hell the peanut butter was, as it seemed awfully smelly and feces-like to a culture unfamiliar with the substance.

hahaha.... funny cuz the first MRE i ate i found that lil tobasco bottle and i thought it was the funniest shit... so i started collecting them

haha thats funny about the peanut butter, but why the fuck do they give you so much... they give you 1.5ounces of the shit yet they give you 4 crackers... i used like 1/4th of the package and still had alot of it on the crackers.... i put the rest on some bread
