    OMFG american stupidity ? or sabotage of the french ? ?

    I just read in a local paper that french parliament members in charche of releasing the two french hostages in iraq said they were about to be released , but the convoy with the hostages wich was headed to Syria was taken under siege by American Troops near the Syrian border leaving 6 of the Iraqi kidnappers dead , The convoy then returned to Iraq

    I can't imagine them being released after this

    Plain american stupidity ? or is there more to this ?

    as of now it is only the french word versus american because of course america is not confirming this

                  dunno , when I first read it I thought of sabotage , I can't imagine the french knowing about this convoy and not telling US troops, so if the knew why shoot htem ? that seems to me like SABOTAGE

                  why would they ? simple NONE of the american hostages will be freed but killed instantely and that makes em mad and frustraded when FRENCH hostages are about to be freed

                  playing with peoples live like this is despicable
