Traffic fluctuations do occur, but if anything I find theres alot more traffic on a weekend. -
Traffic is weird. Some days you expect to be better aren't and some days you expect to be slow surprise you. It's all in the moonphase

Traffic is definately lower for me on weekends, especially sunday..and so are signups. Traffic is a bitch, especially SE traffic can be really unsteady, which has mayor effects on a TGP. 2k less google traffic can easily mean that your total traffic goes down 10k or more if you don't feed the baby much extra traffic from other sources.Comment

traffic is different for all sites - my sales go up on sunday, while my overall traffic for the weekend is about 8-12% lower. At the same time I have close friends that get the opposite.Comment
