Admittedly I have not read the entire thread yet so pardon me if I am reapeating what someone else has stated....
It would bother the hell out of me if someone whom did not know my address showed up without notice. I am upset by friends whom do know my address showing up without notice, much less someone whom I did not give my address to.
I agree with Trey here - I think it is the height of rudeness to expect you can drop by anothers home without notice with the assumption that they are not busy.
