this is a pretty funny, true story:
We were having a New Years Eve party once and had the dogs tied as we expected well over 200 guests.
It wasn't quite dusk yet when I see a car park wayyyyy out on the road. Someone jumps the gate and runs full throttle all the way to our porch (about 1/3 mile) where I am standing.
I recognized the kid as one of my sons friends and ask him why he didn't just hit the button to open the gate and drive in.
His response was classic :
him - "Well I have a red car!"
me - "okkkkk ... and whats the problem?"
him - "Well you have one huge bull with horns out there in the field and I know they chase red things!!"

It was the cutest thing I'd heard in months. When I finally stopped chuckling I showed him there was a really strong fence between the bull and the driveway, then proceeded to point out he'd run all that way wearing a red jacket. ;)
