I just got a new pet!

I just spent $400 on a Bearded Dragon. I had to get the tank and everything for it too though. The reptile its self was only $70.

Does anybody know anything about them or have any suggestions on things I should put in its "habitat"?
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60. Let me repeat... A 120 x 60 button and no more that 3 lines of DEFAULT SIZE AND COLOR text.

Does the search work yet? We just had a thread about dragons a couple weeks ago.

they kick ass... super easy to handle and since they like desert sand they aren't as messy because the sand dries their shit... so it's easy to take out.

they eat crickets and mealworms... and they run back and fourth trying to catch the damn insects.

they don't need much care at all and they really only need a small place to hide from the light and a heat rock... oh and good lights !!! the kind that give off D3...

and to keep them super healthy feed them crickets covered in the D3 powder as well\

Used to have a petshop as a kid... go figure

Don't step on his tail to catch it, when he is running, it will come off!!!

Maybe that's another one, but I wouldn't do it just to be safe! ;)

they make some good substrates along the lines of pebbels and larger sand grains for them.

other than, a water dish and a place to hide. a heating pad and a vitamen D sunlamp and he will be happy as fuck.

Not to be a dick but hell you should have done more research before buying such a cool expensive pet. Don't wait long you want to be sure you have the proper light fixtures, bulbs, heat etc. right away.

I would just google it for a decent herp board.

Enjoy.. I used to sell them a long time ago. Very cool pet.
