    I saw 2 airfighters (f16) earlier, now on news it was for security,because of bomb

    WTF, earlier this day when I was outside I saw two f16's flying very low to the ground, and some other big plane above it.

    Just thought it was strange, but nothing special.

    Now on the news, they were escorting the plane, because someone reported there was a bomb on the plane. They are now still looking for the bomb tho, proberly fake. But still:-) Damn

                          Enough. You might think only Bush has war toys, but we have some as well. Not enough to steal countries, but enough for certain missions. The Netherlands prefer to spend money on education, health care, infrastructure above war toys

                              we won't, we only have them for deffensive reasons. We are more concerned about what Andre said over here. Maybe thats because the amounts of weed that is being smoked in our country, the fumes make everyone sooooooooo relaxed and friendly

                                                          The next generation of US planes will probably have a slight advantage on the Euro Fighter, but very closely matched. Saw something on Discovery about this the other day.

                                                                                  Nope I think we get the fancy US ones, the Joint Strike Fighters or something like that. There was a bit of a row about those because we don't think they should spend that much money on those, because the Euro fighters were just as good, but I don't know what happend with that story.

                                                                                          Eventually they will have to upgrade to JSF (or something else, but JSF offers best price/performance), the F16 is very old.
