Please explain that it was not paid by Pornkings, and that they falciliated the wire due to the fact that the wire I had sent you was and is still tied up because you suppiled us with an inncorrect SWIFT code.

"The SWIFT code that I originally supplied was incorrect (had some extra letters at the end) but my bank says that it was close enough that the funds should have still been directed towards them. Westpac is a major national bank, one of the "big 4" in AU."

I bank with Bank One and they are also a Major bank in the States. Wires out of the US no longer will justify unless the SWIFT code matches the bank exactly. There have been some major changes in how private bank wires are handed over the last year or so and things that do not match are not sent all the way through the system. I have the wire I sent you sitting out in limbo now and you would have received it some time ago if had provided me with the correct info. Not until the 28th of this month did you tell me you gave me an incorrect swift code. Just felt I should make this all a bit clearer to folks that care.

Anyways, it does not matter really. You were owed the money and now you are paid, paid triple on the rebills you lost as promised.

Well it is. There is absolutely no excuse to earn money because of the work of someone else and not pay them the part of it you promised. I think a few people around here seriously think that is perfectly OK business practice

So Jeff, it took you 10 months to pay him because of incorrect wire info, give me a fuckin break. If they wire wasn't going through two months ago when you said you sent it, then you could have told him then and it could have been resent then with the correct swift. The excuses you come up with for not paying on time are hilarious, its always one thing or the other. You've had more "its the bank's fault", "its lost in the mail", "the money was in the account, no reason the check should have bounced" and "its showing as having gone through on my end wonder what could be the problem" excuses than anyone I've ever met. We all wanted to believe your apology and new attitude were legit, but you've shown in the last couple of months that it was all a charade.

I wired the money to Rowan 4 weeks ago. The money never arrived at his bank. I provided him with the transfer numbers and still no luck. I then gave him all my banking information and once again still no luck. Not unitl the 28th did I find out that the wire info Rowan provided to me was incorrect. The funds were then sent on the 29th and they arrived on the 30th. Plain and simple.

Im not saying Rowan is at fault here at all. I am saying he provided me with info that was not exactly correct and it slowed the process. If I had the info that I have now... he would have been paid a month ago... before he felt he needed to start that thread. Shit happens... so whatever. Just glad he got his money and everyone can move on.

There has been no "charade" over the past "few months" Its been 30 days and its been handled. it would have been handled 30 days ago if the info needed had been exaclty correct.

Rowan is a great, hardworking webmaster that deserved to be paid. I wish it was 8 months ago, but it wasnt. He is now paid... triple of wht he was actualy owed due to his lost rebills. He is happy.. Im happy.
