I have used it for about the same time and I can't work without it. I lost it when I had a harddrive crash and my husband muttered 'just use notepad' and it was like a scne out of the exorcist with my head spinning around at the shame of the comment.Originally posted by Sly_RJ
I have been using TextPad for about 6 years now and have it installed on every computer I use, it's even installed on my dads computer for when I'm visiting. I use it daily, couldn't live without it though I'm sure there are other similar programs.Comment

i suppose typeitin is the 'smallest' program I couldn't do without. I have it up nearly all the time. Ulead smartsaver pro does in minutes what it used to take me days to do.Comment

Not really.
Textpad is pretty good and I use it for everything from coding java to making html pages. It's pretty known though.

Batch It Ultra - great for resizing/compressing/renaming image files.
