Someone local, that knows the area and has experience in advertising in these areas... someone who knows your demographic. Much better than just any old joe that may or may not even live in this country.

I hope that makes sense.

I know we all know tons of folks in the biz, that is capable of designing, but can they get the point across to the majority of your demographic in your area?
Def. a job for a local, preferably someone who has done some mainstream ad designs for local music and club editorials. 2cents.

check around to other dj's sites and see who they used, almost all of them have a tagline on the bottom that says who the designer was

be prepared to pay out the ass though, those designers ain't cheap, but they are worth it

i'm not sure he meant he was looking for designers as he know's plenty of them, i think he meant any ideas on what to do with the site, but i could be wrong

He should NOT use any of the designers he knows. Not from here. They may be great designers, but they will not do for the site what should be done, and earn him much more success in the end.

thanks for the inputskys. i really want to make it unique. i don't mind putting some money into it, if the effect is there. i know gazillions of designers, i guess i am lookin for approach tactics and what to offer on the site etc. how to stand out.

both. havent touched it since i came on to rage permamnetly and took vested interest in making this puppy hot hot hot.
