i noticed that a few days ago
they've had all kinds of problems. they couldnt process ars rewards for months which is completely unacceptable and then this. even a couple months ago a lot of videos in their movie matrix sites weren't working for days. ars was once rock solid and on top of things, now everything has gone to shit.
maybe they spread themselves too thin with all the products they offer, plus not changing fast enough when it was obvious their sites were not gonna cut it in the future.Comment

The sites are fine right now, members servers may have had a problem, but that was fixed right away. You act like a server never needs a reboot. big deal
Everything has gone to shit? LOL Well if gone to shit means placing EVERY single rewards order, launching 20 new sites friday, raising payouts to $40, bringing back join page linking... Adding a %5 webmaster referral, and a redesigned stats interface which brings all products together.... Sure its gone to shit.Comment

I'd dispute that point, they tossed out any orders for gift cards a couple weeks ago. You can order other stuff, but the fact remains that not every order was filled, and their word was not kept.Originally posted by EvilFubAr

The other stuff looks promising, but as I understand it none of the sites (old or new) will be run by ARS, ARS is just handling referrals for another company.
They do have a good bunch of people there, and innovated a lot in the past. Hopefully the new changes will do alright, it would be great to see them on top of their game again.Comment

Not anything in the world, anything you can order over the web, which can be too inefficient to be realistic. ars was pretty much the top dog for affiliate programs and they started to coast while other programs were doing the things that they needed to in order to grow. thats what i mean by ars has gone to shit. poor management, whether it was being spread to thin or just plain simple hubris.
there was a time when i sent the majority of my traffic to ars, but not anymore.Comment
