I knew she was THE ONE when I realized how comfortable I felt around her. You'll know you're with the right person when you feel comfortable enough to just let out whatever is on your mind. No need to be a person you think you "have to be." No need for shows. No need for excuses. The right person won't judge you. The right person won't hold that against you. The right person won't have a hidden agenda. The right person won't try to control you. The right person won't try to manipulate you. The right person won't feel petty or act petty. The right person won't just seemingly accept (really a measure of not caring and/or insecurity). The right person just IS and YOU will REALIZE it.
The stuff above is just my experience and MHO. Everyone's situation is different. I've been married for over 1 year. Other guys who have been married longer may have differing impressions.
