its okay. very creepy and well designed. I got a free copy from a friend. I wouldnt have ever even played it otherwise. its not worth what they are asking right now for it. wait till around christmas when the price drops and pick up a copy. -

Yeah it is pretty damn dark. but that kinda lends to the creepy factor. when you walk into a new room, darkness surrounds you, feet shuffling from somewhere in the darkness, you pull out your flashlight, scan around the room in small sections. it gets very scaryComment

You might end up buying a new video card to be able to play at a good frame rate, but besides that, that's a good game imho. I plyed one or two hours almost every evenig for two weeks and really enjoyed it. This is the first scary (and I mean scary) game I ever played and I liked it

I only play it in GODMODE. I just use it to go around slashing up zombies. All weapons and Godmode. I probably wouldn't play it otherwise.Comment

I like it, but definitely only buy it if you have a high end graphics card.
If it seems too dark and you've already turned up the brightness, just pull down the console and type "r_gamma 1.5" or so.

I am loving it......took a bit to get used to the dark...once i got the games settings set it was not to bad.....Make sure you have a good system to run it. All i can say is play it..Comment

Make sure you download the "ducktape" patch. It adds a flashlight to the end of some of the guns so you don't have to keep switching between your weapon and the flashlight. Makes a big difference.Comment
