Seal hunting is a new offer to tourists in Norway this winter. The Norwegian hunting association and the tourist industry are thrilled.
«We expect that everything will be in place for foreigners to hunt seal in Norway right after New Year?s,» said Halvard P. Johansen, department leader in the Ministry of Fisheries, to the Norwegian news agency Avisenes Nyhetsbyrå (ANB).
In other words, foreigners can start the hunting season together with Norwegian hunters when the ordinary hunting season starts January 2 and February 1.
