To put in in perspective, your $.60 us = $1.00 cdn is the same as saying approximately:
$1.00 us = $1.60 cad.
so today the exchange rate is about $1.00 us = $1.16 cad. You are getting about .45 less cents for every US dollar you receive.The weakeness of the US dollar is hurting those Canadian webmasters paid in US dollars. It would be the same as every program all of sudden dropping their payouts by about 30%.
But all of this will come to pass as the ecomony stabilizes. If you have foreign currency, it would seem like like a great time to buy dollars
