Brisbane's a laid back, take it easy kind of city. It's short on whores and really exciting nightlife, but it has a great subtropical climate and it is close to the Gold Coast which I think you would like more. I went down to the gold coast for a night with some buddies about a month back. Stayed at the Cavill Ave Inn. What a shithole. Haha. But it was still great fun. We didn't even hit the clubs. We just got drunk and high in the room and laughed our asses off. Didn't really see the point of going all the way down the coast to stay locked up in a room, though.
