I am doing
so much better than most around me. I got power back on 9/11 and I am still only one of 3 houses on the entire street with power (and only one of the others has the family staying there). The room I cleaned out to camp in while cleaning the rest of the place has a working AC. The water heater miraculously survived and I have a new computer and a corner for it to sit in, so I am able to let family get online to take care of business. My mother lost her computer as did my sister (along with all of her college work
). I lost my DSL modems in the flood, so I am using my backup dialup account. I had to turn flash off to be able to navigate GFY
I've updated the blog today and have started to add pictures, I'll have a good number of them up later tonight or tomorrow. You won't feel as sorry for me once you see what happened to so many of my neighbors.
