I have seen Rollins speak 3 times, twice in new Orleans (House Of Blues) and once in LA also (HOB)
His books are a good read. His music his good, his band is really great especially the basist and drums... all around good band.
Nonetheless, Rollins watched one of his friends get shot in the face right in front of him in his early twenties, he is in his late thirties I believe now. I know he is around the same age as Ian MacKaye. (Minor Threat, Pailhead, Fugazi)
Hes straight edge though, which sometimes is a bit unfriendly with some lyrics.
He is openly against alcohol and drugs. Straight Edge. X. hehehe
Openly against even putting aspirin in your bloodstream, no caffiene, no pollutants of any kind. Anyway, im ramblin now, damn Coronoas... hearing his open word is alot different than seeing his band, both are cool though.
And any guy with Misfits tats is okay with me.
