                                  i can't seem to install the software, its been days now.
                                  search google and still no solution. im getting this error:

                                  "The GTK runtime environment is either missing or needs to be upgraded.
                                  Pls. install v2.6.9 or higher of the GTK+ runtime"

                                  btw, i tried installing v1.5. anyone know the way around?

                                                  I use GAIM under OpenBSD. Works well but like someone else posted, it's shitty like most opensource software. Opensource software generally lacks standards. If OSS had standards, it would be used much more in the workplace.

                                                          i use trillian and it does the job for me...no probs with it 99% of the time.
