Indeed, fine and dandy. Lots of high winds in ft lauderdale but nothing much beyond that. Some power down and trees blown over but all in all we made out fairly nioce

Here, too...the wind is just like a normal Florida storm one second, and then the next minute the trees are whipping around violently. There's a lizard taking shelter behind one of the screens, lol. I'm pretty worried about my house though...it's a mobile in a fairly heavily treed area.....there is literally a tree three feet from every side of my house, and they are so waterlogged that I worry about them being weak enough to go over on the house. But we aren't there, so I won't know til late tonite or tomorrow...whenever they say it is safe to go back. Still have power, cable, and internet though, lol.Originally posted by MattO

Yup, most people on the southeast part of FL aren't posting, so chances are they're out of power. It's 20m SE of my house right now...where we are now will catch the southern part of the eyewall, and it's a tropical storm now. Still really worried about my house though,

That bitch Jeanne is in my neighborhood now.
Still have power & cable, but my mom lives just a few miles away from where I am and hers is out. My whole family is passed out and I'm working like a dog trying to get some work done in case I'm out of power when we get home, lol.
