I had no idea this movie did well with the critics..

I mean shit, its a zombie movie lol!!

Im reading reviews on it now. I had no idea if it would be any good when i saw it. I kinda like that... I hate it when critics tell you something and you go in with a mindset already determined by a critic..

But this movie did well with critics..

Pretty cool..

It is corny.. But creative..

DOnt read the critics reviews.. IF you go in with high expectations it may not be as good.

I went just to be entertained and have fun.. Had low expectations..

And I loved it.

thsi was a Hugh Grant movie with Zombies...my wife loved it

for me, it's one of my top 10 movies of the year, possible top 2-3

I really enjoyed it...highly entertaining and I liked that the hero wasn't some Rambo type, just a regular shlub...

there were a ton of references to Romero, Jackson, Boyle and just classic zombie movies in general (especially the "don't say the zed word!" (George Romero never used the word "zombie" in any of his Dead scripts and forbid the use of the word on the sets)

I was hping for a little more gore, but it's a small complaint for an excellent movie....

I heard a radio review of it and the reviewer liked it, but it just sounded stupid to me. I might give it a go if it's getting good peer reviews though.

I absolutely fucking love this movie!

It has everything, Blood, gore, funny charactors and the lovely Lucy Davis from "The Office".

I hear its only on limited release in the states, playing at a miserly 600 venues. Hopefully word of mouth will soon have this playing everywhere.

It's better than 28 days later, which was good. In fact the only Zombie film to beat it IMO is the original Dawn Of The Dead back in the late 1970's.

For some reason the most disturbing, and at the same time funniest, scene I found in the movie was with the dart especially when he pulls it out of his head. The guy with his intestines being ripped out was fine but that dart....

Well worth buying just for the extras which are worthwhile for a change. One of the few films to pick up on it's own plot holes in the extras
