    Teacher Sends Boy Home With Feces in Bag

    DALLAS - A teacher is on paid administrative leave after sending a first-grader home with feces in his backpack because the boy soiled the classroom floor.

    The teacher apparently was frustrated with the 6-year-old student's actions so she wrapped up the waste and sent it home with the boy Tuesday along with a note, Dallas school district spokesman Donald Claxton said.

    Claxton declined to identify the teacher at Gabe P. Allen Elementary School.

    "It generally appears the teacher was trying to help raise awareness with the family," Claxton said. "It's just an unfortunate incident. Unfortunately, she took this course of action."

                                                                          My guess: kid shat his pants, and ineptly tried to avoid detection by emptying them on the floor. Kids that age will frequently lie to avoid getting in trouble, but they are generally very naive about it...no way the teacher wouldn't find who dumped it, just gotta follow your nose, but a six year old wouldn't think of that.

                                                                          However the situation occurred, the teacher handled it insensitively, and I'd say even intentionally cruelly. A phone call would communicate the problem to the family just as well. I'd guess the teacher was pissed, and did something mean to a six year old to vent that frustration. That's not someone who should work around kids.

Whatever the case, that teacher had no right to do that. When you are teaching young kids these are one of the many problmes that you will encounter...she doesn't like it move on!

As for the teacher he or she should be fired. Here's a fact most teachers shouldn't be teachers. We should pay them higher saleries and actually be able to fire them if they don't perform these children are our future no matter how shitty it may be...

                                                                                                                              its is extremly difficult for a teacher to get fired unless she molests one of her students, but even if she hits them out of rage she could probably come back after a year or so when everybody forgets about it.

                                                                                                                                                          I started in kindegarten when I was 4 years old. When I was 5 and was in 1st grade, it was alot different than just playing with toys, having a snack, then laying down for a nap before mom picked me up.

                                                                                                                                                          In 1st grade, there was desks and chairs in perfect rows, and a teacher who told us rules all day long. We couldnt play, couldnt nap, couldnt talk or anything. We couldnt even run to the bathroom when we needed to. We had a stern lecture that if we had to go to the bathroom, we had to raise our hand until the teacher called on us. Then we could ask to use the bathroom.

                                                                                                                                                          One day the teacher had a group of the kids in a circle and she was reading to them and teaching them things as they read along. I was in the other group, at our desks doing a project. I had to pee. I raised my hand. I had to pee so bad I was practically bouncing up and down on the chair. You know how kids are. They're fine, then they're about to explode. The teacher didnt see my raising and waving my hand. I knew I couldnt just get up and go, and there were strict rules forbidding talking too. So there I sat, arm raised and waving wildly in the air, trying by force of will for the teacher to see me. Desperately trying to get her attention. I peed in my pants and sat in a pool of piss crying quietly until the teacher finally finished her reading lesson and saw me and called my mother.

                                                                                                                                                          I was confused when I was asked "why didnt you just get up and go if you had to go so badly?", because there were strict rules forbidding that. It was crystal clear that if you had to go, you had to raise your hand and ask. I did everything I was supposed to do. I was raised with discipline, and I understood rules.

                                                                                                                                                          So obviously this was something I'll never forget, not even 35 years later. And I have a certain insight into possible reasons how something like that could happen and there not be any reason out of the ordinary whatsoever. I think it was a terrible thing to do.. The kid possibly feels enough shame to last a lifetime.
