Those people weren't given access to our public education? What were they denied that you and I were given? I've made my opportunities for myself. What about you? Have you been looking for handouts or did you make it on your own?

Please help me find those pictures. Actual pictures with people being killed or tortured.

                And again..please help my confusion.

Are we at war because of terrorism? Or to free the people of Iraq? I can't get it straight anymore.

You know nothing of how many people Saddam has killed. If the number was so high, the United Nations would have been all over him. I don't doubt it was bad, but not what the liars in charge are telling us.
You're forgetting about how France, Germany and Russia (key security council countries) were being bribed by the Food for Oil program. Of course these countries are going to try to stop every effort to depose Saddam. Why do you think the UN passed 17 impotent resolutions over 12 years? As long as you have at least 1 security council veto, you're safe and that's what Saddam had. As a matter of fact, he had 3.

Despite what the Republicans would have you believe, THE TRUTH *IS* the most important issue here.

The war is going WORSE than ever, and only people who still believe in Santa Claus are going to buy the line that things are going GREAT in Iraq.

Tell me just ONE place, ONE SPECIFIC item you have posted ANYWHERE in this thread that shows the IMPORTANCE of Iraq in the war on terrorism and Al Qaeda!

I frankly don't GIVE A FUCK what was happening earlier in Iraq before we invade because we had a much more IMPORTANT THING to do! CATCH THE MOTHERFUCKERS THAT ATTACKED US ON 9/11/01!!

Bush STARTED to do that, and then stopped and went off on his own merry little war in Iraq, thus allowing Al Qaeda and gang to re-group and get even stronger TODAY than they were THREE years ago!

For the very first time there will be a free election in Iraq, thanks to Bush!

You can't blame USA for what the muslim murders are doing in Iraq, they do it all over the world to stop the way of living we are used to and like.
You do live in an alternate universe don't you?

                                1) WRONG on 80% of UN nations rules by dictators.
2)WRONG on free elections in Iraq. They will never happen because frankly IRAQ does not want free elections! They are not material for a western type of democracy.
                                3) We CAN blame the USA for the murders because if we hadn't invaded in the first place, there wouldn't be almost 1100 soldiers dead and numerous civilians on BOTH sides murdered!

To all those who do the hokie pokie dance of "Saddam was a bad man who murdered his own people"..tell me just ONE THING:

HOW DID THE INVASION OF IRAQ HELP US IN THE WAR ON TERROR THAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE FIGHTING?

It hasn't helped..it has actually made it worse because Iraq is now a breeding/training ground for terrorists now where it WASN'T before.

And if you need to sniffle about how BAD Saddam was for your justification for killing 10's of thousands of innocents NOW in Iraq, then why aren't we doing it in ALL the countries were leaders are repressing their own people?

You are HYPOCRITES when you give the argument: "But he was a bad man we needed to take out!"

Well 3 vetoes (actually only 2 because Germany doesn't have veto power)
is better than just 1 which Israel always gets.

Plus the UN for oil scandal is being investiaged and if found to be true then those countries deserve to be humiliated for their actions. However at the moment it is pure speculation without actual prooof.

The US needs to be a country of isolation like before WW2. For some reason we changed I forget why

China, as a Security Council member blocked UN from stopping the killings in Sudan. Only one example.
Who shall save the lives of the people still being killed daily? Bush? You? Or just let them be killed?
And Israel, stupid Jews, they still don't know that they should not argue about being killed.

24 September 2004 ? The "unspeakable violence" being waged against the people of Sudan's troubled Darfur region means the crisis there is a global issue, and "not simply an African problem," Secretary-General Kofi Annan told the Security Council today.

In remarks at the outset of a Council meeting to hear a briefing by Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo on the situation in Africa, in particular Darfur, where more than 1.65 million people have had to flee their homes in the past year and a half because of the violence, Mr. Annan said civilians are still facing attacks every day.

China said: we will not support any actions from UN in Sudan. ( Veto )

Saddam Hussein is an honorary citizen of detroit. Perhaps he should move there.

                                              http://www.wndu.com/news/032003/news_19147.php

I wonder sometimes if Americans all suffer from long term memory loss. Saddam's your boy. You backed him in the Iran-Iraq war. In fact you backed him so much that at one point he had the 4th largest army in the world.

Some of you claim he killed "thousands of his people". When those people are Kurdish rebels who stage an armed revolt with promised military support of the US (which they didn't get), then they are no longer your people, they are insurgents.

And how does America treat insurgents in Iraq? No better than Saddam did.

The Iraqi Secret Police (The Fedayeen)? Abu Ghraib prison? Do you know why those exist?

They were there to suppress something prevalent in the middle east that Saddam did not want in his secular Baathist Party controlled country.

You guessed it. Militant, fundamentalist Islam. This is why Osama hated Saddam so much. Saddam was oppressing the very people that US forces are shooting it out with.

I can't believe that some of you make the most grandiose and assinine claims without doing even the slightest amount of research.

This is why (as I linked above) the rest of the world wants Bush out. We've done our homework.

We're still asking the same questions over and over and we're not getting answers.

                                              Where's the WMDs?
Why aren't you trying to find Osama Bin Laden?
What does Iraq have to do with Terrorism?

Nobody has good answers for these questions. All the freedom fries and flag waving won't make the world stop asking.

It's funny that the US talks about saving the Iraqis from the oppression of Saddam Hussein, yet the people Saddam was oppressing in his own country ARE THE VERY SAME PEOPLE SHOOTING AT US TROOPS

What you and Bush are doing is a hell of a lot more dangerous than what Kerry is doing.

Kerry is not doing anything more than giving us another direction to choose from, that is the American way.

You are not a patriot, you are not a good American, you are trying to feed into the bullshit that is destroying America from its very core.
