Program owners tend to have more reliable figures as they are aggregates of all types of traffic and webmasters. The difference is a growing program has distorted figures as it's not static, you're adding a new webmaster every day or whatever so even on a slow week you are still adding new sales even if they would have been lower otherwise. I'm pretty confident say, thedoc, is being 110% truthful without any marketing bs.
