Right now I am listening to a close friend who was a Blues Musician in New Orleans for years from Old Bayou parts of Louisiana, and never really got the recognition he deserved, nonetheless last year he died in a bad boating accident in new Orleans.
he played jazz fests and many festivals doing outdoor Blues Festival shows for over 25 years, all while really being a mechanic in the shadows, effors unrewarded by much more than smiles and free beer.
