GoDaddy isn't much better than NSI, although they do have better commercials.

NameCheap is the only option as far as I am concerned - the level of control and the speed of the service knock everything else out of the water.

I personally use registerfly but I'm moving my domains over to directnic . They just prooved how strong they are.
