Well in 2 days I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled out. I further learned that only 1 of em is SLIGHTLY impacted and the rest are kinda out but don't have enough room to come all the way out. I'll post an update the day I come home when I get em pulled!Sig too bigComment

Alright I rested took a perk, and some other pills. It's really not so bad. MOst of the numbness is gone and I can basically deal with the swollen feeling in my mouth. I'm doin pretty good! It's actually pretty funny cause all I remember after they put the IV in my is the guy telling me all I'm gonna remember is talking to him, they gave me some big ass black block to hold my mouth open, next thing I know I'm stumblin in my house LOLSig too bigComment

Alright well it's night now. Tired as hell. All I ate today was Jello and shit. My teeth aren't feeling too bad. I took Oxycodone which is a cool pain killer. Feels good too!Sig too bigComment

After 2 weeks you will get these nasty holes in your mouth where food gets stuck in, and you have to suck all the food out and rinse it... it is really disgusting...
It's been 2 weeks and my jaw is still a bit stiff...
It's still hard for me to open my mouth all the wayComment

I've had one wisdom pulled at the dentist which didn't hurt at all (surprisingly) but there are a couple hiding under my gums. One is growing on an angle so it will probably need surgery to remove.

They gave me this panaramic X-Ray. Showed it to me that 2 of my wisdom teeth were slightly impacted, and the others were erupted. Anyway, I sit down in the chair, the guy tells me some stuff about what they're doing and I'm gonna be in a "Twilight Sleep". Anyway they give me this IV, and then give me this unconfortable block to hold my mouth open. The next thing I know, I'm stumbling around my house with bloody gause in my mouth! Nothing much made sense until after I woke up from a rest in my house. Twilight Sleep is cool as hell, it's like an instant time warp! I swear I do not know the transition where I was knocked out to when I regained consiousness. I read up on "Twilight Sleep" and found it's part of a general anesthetic that gives you AMNESIA!!! Pretty cool. Right now I took 2 Oxycodones. THEY FUCKIN ROCK and make me feel so good. So far, I have to say this experience is much less scary than I thought it would be. I had a similar experience when I had some oral surgery, I took some soluble aspirin (instant high, like 5 seconds after I swallowed it), got the drip connected up, then suddenly I'm in a bed asking the doc if they're starting soon. Day 2!! 24 Hours since surgury. NO PAIN in my mouth. All I feel is a little pressure on one side. I ate scrmbled eggs today!! The best fuckin eggs I've had in my life! So far everything is all good. Getting your wisdom teeth taken out at least in my case is not nearly as bad as I would have imagined it. Good luck to those who are gonna have it done!Sig too bigComment

I doesnt hurt much. They gave me Demerol and Ibeprofin for home. It made me a fuckin zonbie but I could eat 3 cheeseburgers with 4 holes in my head, lol. No pain.

If you develope a dry socket you will be fucked. Dont smoke until they tell you that its ok. I developed 2 dry sockets BTW. So the odds are good. They were both on bottom or top I forget. But they are somewhat Likely.Originally posted by DogsandBigCats
