    Do insurance companies insure rims and stereos? Who do you guys use for your ride?

      If you have good home owner insurance, this can sometimes be covered.

      I had some stuff stolen out of a car when I was in High School. Happened in my parents driveway so that might have been why it was covered.

                My insurance company said they would cover the market value of the car and $5000 for all the accessories, but my sound system is worth twice that not counting my rims and paint job and all the little extras.
