I thought it was great, but I don't require my action films to have consistancy or anything as long as they keep the...action going. Heh.
As for the cars with no damage, blame the car companies for that. They generally have a rule where no one is allowed to show damage to a car, I guess so they can keep thier nice cars looking fresh. Heavin forbid they actually portray them as being dentable...
This is also why games like Project Gotham and Gran Turismo don't show physical damage [PGR has the 'life bar'] anymore.
