What do you think about this MANSION?

I just found this browsing offshore real estate. This fucker is sized 6.200 square feet, 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms.

Located in the suburbs of Capetown, South Africa. One of Africa's most beautiful cities (supposedly). I wonder if they have DSL there?

Oh, it's priced 890k US $. Isn't that a joke?

I've heard this as well. But also I have heard from some people (mostly doctors funnily enough) that are FROM Capetown that it is still a dangerous place. VERY high crime rate and high unemployment make for scary nights in the city streets.

Not to sound racist, this is sad, but true. Generally, the areas that are unsafe, and have higher crime rates, are the poorer areas where the majority of people are black. If you live in a "white" area, things are fairly safe. You'll find it's like that nearly everywhere in South Africa over the last 8 years or so. I used to live in Johannesburg. Similar kind of thing over there.

I would live there if it wasn't so far away. I could have that mansion staffed with some fine ass young S.A. women to do everything from cooking to cutting my toenails. But You don't realize how far Africa is until you are actually standing on the African Continent and it's hard to find a decent working telephone and have full blown malaria. Then you'll REALLY wish that you could be back in the US living in a moderate sized house and eating apple pie.
