To add: dogs bite for various reasons. mostly out of fear, it doesnt sound like this is the problem though. It sounds as though you have a dog that is severly dominant. You might be able to correct this behavior, but only if you know that you can control the dog when he starts to fight you. If you try the tecniques i've mentioned he will most surely fight you if it is a dominance issue, so be prepared. you need to decide if he is too big to handle. If so then dont try this. Cause if he wins, as in bites you and you let him up, or is able to get out from under you, then he will know that he is dominant over you. You may just have to put him down. If this is the case then i am sorry for you, as well as the dog. noone likes to lose a pet. But if he continues to bite people then i dont see an alternative. read the entire post above. It will help you a great deal when buying your next dog.
