To be quite honest ( which seems to be a rarity now a days ), It really depends on the design of the gallery, and the content..
We've played with a lot of different formats, before we hit it right.
Our picture galleries convert as well as our movie galleries do..
I do agree that a lot of the movie galleries being put out these days, show WAY too much...Comment

Movies convert better by far, but be prepared to burn a shitload of bandwidth.
About the teasing part, I have done great with including full cumshots...

Ok mine was vague.
I still love picture galleries. They still convert and will not be phased out. Movie galleries are ending up with more long term rebills for me than picture galleries. I think this is primarly due to that people searching out the movies are more apt to be on broadband and will get the most out of our sites.
Everything of course has other factors. We all know them so no reason going over each.
Yes the ROI is better with movie galleries for us than the picture galleries are.Comment
