yep, get that problem all the time. before i moved i used to have my old friends come around any time of the day or night thinking i could hang out whenever since they think i can just work whenever. and sure i can to some extent but if i never work i never make any money.
thats one major thing they don't get. a lot of people can go into work, do their little tasks and fuck around the majority of the time but if we don't work, we don't make the money. for the most part its a commission based job.
also IM's is a good point. my girlfriend is always saying im chatting to whores and sluts on there but its just business contacts im talking to.
my friends used to get pissed off when i would tell them how much i was making (this was back in the early days) so i stopped. now i'll just make up some fake number about how much i earn and how much i work. its just easier.
