I have always known mine because my mother told me it was fairly rare and wanted me to be prepared if I needed some in an accident. This weekend the topic of being an organ donor came up in a conversation with a group of friends and only about half of us knew our blood type. Do you know yours?

I had 2 blood transfusions in 2000. They have to have 2 hospital employees check and recheck each pint before they give it to you. If I didn't know it then, I certainly learned after hearing it 50+ times
