Do you drink alone???

so do you???

Last night I was home alone so I went to the neighbourhood pub and had me a pint of Guinness while I read the newspaper.

Later I came home and watched the idiot box and decided to have a couple glasses of red wine.

Two hours later I ended up kinda tipsy. I started to think to myself. I had NO intentions of getting drunk. I just wanted to relax and enjoy a nice bottle of wine. What's wrong with that??

Does this make me an almost alcoholic?? or just an alcoholic??

I do this quite often..do you??

Actually my ex girlfriend used to do that - it's quite common. Don't worry your normal - if you start taking a screwdriver with your breakfast - then you may have an issue

Once in a while Ill have a few shots when alone. But since I dont drink much, I try and save it for social occasions.

Besides... who wants to be a drunken idiot alone when you can do it in a group and embarass your friends as well

I have no problem with that Odie I just hardly drink till I goto a webmaster show. THats how I get a bad rap fpr being a drinker or a partier. Im a very social drinker and enjoy the company of others.

yup..I grew up with tons of ppl around me ALL the time so it's only been until recently that I'm really starting to appreciate having alone time. Plus I have few g/f's who don't work at night so i"m stuck alone or with the boys..

Once or twice a year I pick up a 12 pack and drink a beer or two at night during TV time. Especially at this time of year when school kids wake me in the morning.. it helps me sleep better/deeper.

Sometimes after a long and hot day I'll have a beer with my dinner while watching a movie or TV. I don't see anything wrong with that. Beer is refreshing and goes great with steak and many other food combinations.

Very rarely will I drink any hard liquor alone though, I save that for poker night.

Its just when you start carrying some with you for just in case you can't drink for a few hours you might want to worry...
