Interestingly enough, why are you the one posting about this if your mom is the one with the problem? I guarantee she'd get alot more sympathy by posting about it herself than by you starting such a lame thread.
I've also seen SI occasionally give someone a second chance, if they made a mistake and it wasn't an intentional thing.
