Just started on USA, great movie, though the unedited ver is much better. Anyone else like this movie?

It had it's moments. It's been a few years since I watched it, I'd watch it again if it came on. I'm a fan of Fishburn's work, overall I'd give the movie a 7/10. CD Ebert gives it a thumb's up. Not a BIG thumb's up, not two thumb's up, but a thumb's up nonetheless.
Far from my favorite though.Promote Wildmatch, ImLive, Sexier.com, and more!!

Sure, it's the point where all matter, including sunlight, cannot escape. Once something crosses that point, nothing can escape the pull of the black hole.Originally posted by kenny
Anybody here know what a event horizon really is?#27024067Comment

A ship, called the Event-Horizon, was sent out to test it's "faster-then-lightspeed" technology, only to vanish completely for nearly 30 years. Out of nowhere it appears in our solar system 30 years later, and a search and rescue team is sent to find out what happened, and more importantly, where it went. And what it brought back with it.Originally posted by SpikeHeel

I thought it was a really good horror movie; one of the few that actually made me jump a few times. I highly recommend it if you like sci-fi and horror at all, as CDSmith has said.#27024067Comment

Definately interesting to give you a quick response. It's a feasible, and even practical concept that actually is still being talked about in the physics community today. Lots of supporters of the worm-hole theory and other dimensions and/or universes.Originally posted by kenny
What do you think of the point of singularity?

They say it's the point of the black hole where all laws of physics break down..Originally posted by Downtime

I don't think of it that way. I think the matter is crushed to a point where it is converted into a form of invisible energy that is actually emitted from the black hole.
Similar to Hawkin Radiation
I don't think it's a endless point at all. I think of a black hole as kind of a super dark matter7Comment
