    From the CMI:

    iBill News
Last Updated: Wednesday 22 September 2004 at 9:08 PM U.S. Eastern Time

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
iBill US UPDATE: Out of Stand-In

Due to our dispute with First Data Corp, iBill has now moved our US business away from First Data.

During the transition, we temporarily operated in stand-in processing from noon to 8:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, September 22, 2004. Please be advised that we are no longer doing stand-in processing.

All US credit card transactions that occurred during stand-in processing, including scheduled rebills, will be visible in CMI starting tomorrow, Thursday, September 23, 2004. Going forward, new sales will appear in CMI as usual.

Thank you for your continued patience and support, we greatly appreciate your business and look forward to our continued relationship.

    ---------------------------------------

I hope all is well there, any word on payouts?

You can still get authorization for credit card transactions but not actually bill until a later time, it's quite common.

Sounds like they might have things under control. Leaving stand in mode is a very good sign.

Even if they avoided going out of business, this whole fucking this is a wakeup call to idiots like me who only used one processor. Time to get some back up processors.

If you're making as much with your big tit sites as you claim you are, and I have no reason to think you're not, you should really consider a cascading billing system.

You'll be able to flip over to a secondary processor in no time. Good for all kinds of situations from company's going out of business to excess scrubbing.

A backup processor is a good idea. You are not an idiot. If you are just getting started two or more $750 charges is no joke. If you are a $100,000 per month or more biz, you may be an idiot. ;)

All BS aside, the fact that my sites have done as well as they have is NO reflection on me. It is almost completely due to the fact that my models are hot as hell.

I have been a lazy fuck for the past two years and could have done so much better than I have. Reading the posts of the real players in this business, like Rick Latona, Lensman, Steve Lightspeed, and others, has given me inspiration to be more than just a fucking troll who annoys everyone.

There you go. I knew you'd be able to see the light. You can draw attention to yourself without it all being negative.

                          Good luck.

Cascading is important, and adding on to your system as well - meaning, you could run MPA3 with all the bells and whistles, but you'd still be smart to accept a bag of pennies through the mail!
