Great Movie. JLo really resembled her. Very good casting.

There is one part of the story that was left out. She could have survived. Her family are johova witnesses or something close to that so they refused some life saving measures that could have saved her life. So very sad to be pulled away from life so young!

              Partially true.

They are Johovha's, but she came in D.O.A. according to a few sources. The measures they were trying was after she got to the hospital.

I agree. Good casting, which apparently was picked by the family. If you want to know more of the story, try and catch the VH1 'Behind the Music' where they give more of the details left out of the movie on her death with Saldivar. What a sick woman.

The family wanted the movie to be about Selena's life, not death. Which is why the Saldivar thing was more a less sound bites here and there.

I am not a JLO fan, but I agree with others. Probably one of the few watchable JLO movies.

Great movie. I remember hearing about it in Texas (Army) when it happened. I had heard her song but didn't know who Selena was at the time.

really sad life story indeed...she was a great singer and sad to think that she could have contributed more in the music industry.
