    i'll say a lifespan of 5 days.. lol, seems these CDs start skipping without any scratches on them...

      Depends on which ones you buy.
      I've got some that I treat worse than a $2 whore and still play fine after a few years.

                    i think some are made with vegitable dyes and will break down in ultra-violate light... generally the blue ones... silver ones should last for decades

                      hmmm if you dont mistreat it...it should last pretty long...it's not like they will desintegrate after 5 years....

                      I got some old ass CD..with shitloads of scratches..and they still work good..
