An important tip for programs offering FHG's. MUST READ!

I'm seeing alot of big programs with thousands of FHG's with no way to filter out and export just the type of galleries your affiliates want.

Right now I am trying to fill a MGP script up with just Movie Galleries.

There are many MGP (Movie Gallery Post) owners that you are missing out on their traffic because they don't want to waste their time plucking out your movie galleries out of a huge list of pic and movie galleries.

It's not that difficult to code this feature in, and if a smaller niche program like mine ( www.bvcash.com ) can do it, I know you big boys can do it.

Great post, I was just thinking this today as I imported galleries into my script. I couldn't add a bunch of sponsors for this exact same reason.

Yup great post. Seems like many programs didn't spend any time asking their affiliates what they needed in the FHG database....

Indeed they are one of the guilty ones.

Frustrating to say the least because I allready had an account with them and was ready to load up their movie gals.

Lensman's Reality Cash program, same deal, all mixed in with no way to filter out the movie gals. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

That was the first thing I had in mind when I created Metal Cash. I wanted a system where the webmaster could select the site, program, pics or movies.. anything.

OK, I logged back in and I stand partially corrected, thanks.

Seems that you can only filter out the Movie galleries site by site when you click the "Show Add Tools" button. I'll just have to export a list for each site I guess.

When I tryed the first time I was clicking on the "Click Here: Get hosted galleries by date" option. Here you can get a full list of all of the galleries for all of the sites in the program. But you can not filter out the movie galleries in this screen.

Oh and Lens, if you are reading this, Your password retrieval feature is not working. Probably something to do with sendmail because I did not get a confirmation email either. I had to sign up again with another email to get in this second time.

Dude, you are right on!!!!

That is why I created the gallery database, because I was tired of having to weed through all the data. However, a lot of it is good stuff and I didn't want to miss out on it, so I just took the massive amount of time and corrected it so it could be exported in a format of my choice.

At minimal, I like to see this data available:
url|category|type

Can't ask for better than all this:
url|category|type|description|number of items|thumb url

And those using nats with tons of paysites. Be so much easier to have the option to "export all" (that is if categories are provided as an export field option) instead of having to click on Pics or Movies next to each paysite, then choose the fields, than having to choose the fields all over again for the next paysite. Yea, Yea, I'm a picky fuck

From my experience, I think Fetish Hits provides one of the best exporting tools with pretty much all the fields one would ever need, besides the thumb_url

From my experience, I think Fetish Hits provides one of the best exporting tools with pretty much all the fields one would ever need, besides the thumb_url

And let me clarify.

It's not the data available for export that makes their tool so good. Plenty of other sponsors provide that data.

It's the convenience. I can click on "all galleries". Then choose Pic, Movie, or all. Then choose any of the following:

url|gallery name|type|niche|sitename|description

So in two clicks, I can have thousands of galleries from 78 of their paysites exported. The niche option is key here and the big time saver for me when it comes time to import these galleries into my tgp.

Over 155,000 FHG for easy export

Yep, Pimproll also has one of my favorite exporting tools. Niche is available as a field option, and you can select movie, pic, or both as well as a ton of other available options.

That's similar to how mine is coded at www.bvcash.com

Not only can you filter out movie galleries you can filter out the different types of movie and pic galleries such as the embedded movies, combo galleries, movie only etc etc.

As well as 5 different length descriptions, 2 sizes of hosted thumbs etc etc...

it's all there

It pays to have a programmer for a partner
All of our stuff is custom. Even cascade billing, custom pricing, etc etc

It's almost complete. Where's the category or niche option? Otherwise, the all site option is useless. Without the category, I have to do each site individually and file the galleries according to the paysite.

I've actually told my partner he needs to add that field as well, but you know how programmers are.

All our sites are in the Voyeur niche though. Some could be in the Party Girl or wet t or spring break niche but most people lump those into voyeur anyways.

Yea, your galleries wouldn't be that difficult to file under certain categories. But that is one of the main beefs I have with a lot of these other exporting tools. Don't get me wrong, I'm very appreciative of all the various promotional tools sponsors are providing to the affiliates, but niche is an important field!

Unless I want to make TGP like this:

That would sure suck the big one for conversions. I like to categorize my galleries as accurately as possible.

I just signed up again and wrote down my login on a piece of paper this time. So now I have 2 accounts

I think I grabbed about 1200 something movie galleries so all i good!

But yah you might want to tell whomever is in charge of the scripting stuff that the password retrieval thing is not working as well as any program signup confirmation emails. Try it.
